Yes, It has been quite a while.  I decided to revive this blog and share the many things I learn.  Since 2011 I have completed my coursework for the Doctor of Education degree at Texas A&M Commerce.  I am now a doctoral candidate and am working on my dissertation.  In addition, I am an Instructional Coach with Dallas ISD. My postings for the near future will be experiences though my dissertation and discoveries I find relative to education.

Recently I attended an educational conference in Dallas, Texas.  I learned of a very interesting web site which integrates lessons with video, activity, role playing and classroom tasks.  I have shared this site with some of my teachers.  The link is movie segments to assess grammar goals.  The site owner presented at the TESOL convention in Dallas, Texas.

Another interesting class at TESOL focused on how our brain learns.  I plan to post with a link to an applicable YouTube video.
